just before the start......
everyone loves lightsticks! esp green ones. charleen, siewli and michelle's hands er i mean wrists. lols. :P
beware of the dark. muahahaha. B)
we had late night rehearsals at the multi purpose room too, which actually really is multi purpose depending on how you use it. lols. at around 3am. yes we're crazy people. but based on the state of my vocal chords, the rehearsal is actually only for the "fairies" to practise their actions and steps. there's a mirror which is like damn useful la. should've been rehearsing there right from the start. oh, i was filling in blanks on my lecture notes there too. too much left from monday's absence from school or to be accurate, lectures. haha. and eventually some of us slept there. the air there is cool and its so comfortable to sleep with just the fan on, ok maybe because the aircon had been switched on before. haha. i don't know why im promoting that room on my blog. haha. i slept for only an hour. and it's like at 6am cause i've been shuffling between the booth and that dumb staircase to make sure that everyone is alive... woke up at 5am the prev day. so its close to 30 hours without sleep now. yippee.
after that came the nightmare of cleaning up. plus it rained heavily and that made things more difficult for us. had to wait till the rain stopped before we could dispose of all those yucky trash. and those liquid dripping out of it and onto our legs... eww. appreciate those who helped move the rubbish. :) i know you all were waiting for pw results and then came to help on the way, but frankly speaking i was really waiting for the rain to stop so that the rubbish could be disposed of, and check pw results on the way. ok maybe im really sick and worn out that's why my logic's a bit wrong. lols. :P oh and that two games of bridge with b2 jiawen and jinheng were good. been a long time since i last played bridge. :)
erm im getting cranky and digressing... so the thing is: a big thank you to the CCS MM comm for organising the event in a rather short time and all CCS members who came down to give their support in patrolling, tending booth etc etc. it's been a long night and hectic morning. tiring but hope all of you enjoyed it although most or all didn't get to watch at least one complete movie. rest well! debrief will be in a fortnight's time.
side tracking now. speaking of pw results, mj has got 73% of people getting A's. impressive huh? but im in the next 21% la. that's considered good for me already, although relatively to that 73% its just not as good. =X that's what happens commonly when comparison arises. lol. but i felt i couldn't ask for more already, due to the many many factors which its rather pointless to mention now; it's not as if the project's still on. wasn't having very high expectations either. good enough, yeah. ;)
lastly, to my friends and teachers who have constantly been telling me to rest more, drink more water and herbal tea, just a word of thanks from this stubborn girl here. lols. i know my voice is so sexy that it sounds damn horrible, but yeah i'll take note and i'll be fine. i miss my voice too and really hope that it'll come back to me soon. or not i can only barely sing ah du's songs for now. XD xiaopin's round the corner and im really starting to get uptight over it already now that MM's over. last week to chiong. voice, come back to me soon~~ hahaha. oh and thanks to all those who messaged me when i was absent from school on monday. maybe it goes to show that i've been too noisy and therefore it's so noticeable that im not around? hehe. appreciate it la. :P ok really need to sleep now. eyelids burning. tata~
Im learning more and more of how to be contented and not compare with
others, but that does not equate to accepting whatever that comes my way be it
reasonable or not. It's rather unpredictable - things can change and time will
pass, knowing when to be contented and when to move on, strive on is
important.
Im also knowing more about not projecting personal problems as if
its the whole world's problem, the whole world's fault.
Many people out there think they've suffered great blows and the strong
winds out there are toppling them over, but what they do not see is the
other perspective, that what they're going through are just minute and
perhaps insignificant events in what you call life.
It is truly sad that they will not know this, until they're really
faced with what's called a "real" blow, one that's like a thousand times more
severe than the mere stress and problems from schoolwork and grades now.
Which student does not face pressure? It's just the way it's handled.
Complaining may just be emotional relief but it won't help in actual. Complain
in moderation too. This way, maybe things will be easier for self and those souls around.
